Why you should consider the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire for your Wedding
The Toyota Alphard and Vellfire are luxurious MPVs made by Toyota. Over the past year, we’ve seen a steady increase in the number of customers requesting for the Alphard/Vellfire and we understand why. Firstly, it’s because these cars are different from the traditional Jaguar/Audi sedans that couples tend to choose. To add to that, we have also seen an increase in the number of customers choosing SUVs like the Mercedes-Benz GLC as their wedding car. I guess young couples are more adventurous now!
Secondly, the Alphard/Vellfire is also very, very spacious. Personally, I feel like a king when i’m being chauffeured in these cars. There’s simply lots of leg room and space in the car that brides do not have to worry about ruining their dress when it gets scrunched up in the rear seats (as can be the case in smaller cars). In the Alphard/Vellfire, the door opening is quite big, and the step of the car is at a good height - meaning you can enter and exit the car gracefully. There are also handles near the door for you to grip when you are going in/getting out of the car.
Thirdly, these cars have massive road presence. Because of their size and the way they look (modern and luxurious), they demand your attention - especially when you see a huge MPV adorned with decorative wedding flowers and ribbons. They make a big statement on your wedding day, since the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire are also the choice of car for many VIPs and well off people to be chauffeured around in.
That being said - these cars are also very comfortable and feel very plush on the road. They ride over the road surfaces really smoothly so you get to your destination feeling calm and relaxed.
If you don’t believe me - try booking a grab premium and getting a ride in an Alphard/Vellfire ;)
Fourth, these cars can sit at least 6 - 7 passengers depending on the model. This means that if you have to ferry your friends/family on your wedding day - you can do so without having to get another car. You can simply share the car with your loved ones on your special day. It means you get to save money since you’re only getting one car.
For example, suppose you get an Audi A6 and a Jaguar XF for 6 hours - this costs about $448 for the Audi A6 and $488 for the Jaguar XF respectively. Total cost : $936 for 6 hours.
Whereas if you get just 1 Alphard/Vellfire - it adds up to just $438 for 6 hours.
In this simple example, you get to save almost $500 ! #moneysavingtips :)

Fifth, when you book the Toyota Alphard/Vellfire - they are at your disposal. What it means is that you can make more trips with this car. On average, our wedding cars typically make about 4 to 7 trips per wedding job.
Some of our cars also have a strict rule that requires the bride and groom to be in the car for any of the trips. If someone other than the bride or groom wants to get ferried in the car while the bride and groom aren’t around, this isn’t allowed.
This isn’t the case with the Alphard/Vellfire. Your family/friends can use the car without the bride and groom around during the period that the wedding car is booked. Suppose you left something at home, your bridesmaids/groomsmen can use the car to go back home to help you.
Do remember however - that the more the car moves around, the worst the decor is going to look (due to wind, dust, debris on the road, rain etc.) - so try to minimise the time spent on the road once the decor is put up.
Lastly - our Alphard/Vellfire cars are usually of the latest model. In 2019, we have been using the 2019 Alphard and Vellfire models for most of our wedding jobs. We regularly update our fleet to use Alphard/Vellfire cars that are less than 2 to 3 years old, meaning you get to enjoy a relatively new car at a great price.
