5 most popular self drive wedding cars in Singapore
Because you checked out our previous article on our most popular wedding cars with driver in Singapore, here we’re back, bringing you another list of popular wedding cars - but this time, all the cars we’ll be listing below are available for you to self drive !
That means you can take charge, and drive yourself and your partner in your dream luxury car to your wedding venue. Not to mention that these cars can also be cheaper than their chauffeured counterparts, since you’re not paying for a driver.
Before we begin, a common question we get from customers is whether the self drive cars comes with the complimentary 1 hour wedding decor time.
Our self drive cars do not include the complimentary 1 hour decor time the day before the wedding. The decor time only applies to chauffeured cars (cars with driver).
If you rent a self drive car and purchase your wedding decor with us as well, you can drive down to the bridal location after you pick the car up for the decor to be done :)
Now that’s out of the way, let’s get cracking !
Jaguar XF
Not many people have driven a Jaguar before, so here’s your chance. The Jaguar XF in white is a truly special car - it has gorgeous curves, a very handsome front facia, looks stunning with wedding decorations on, and probably the biggest draw of this car is the unique factor.
Do note that the Jaguar XF that we have is a diesel model, which is an advantage to you because diesel is cheaper than petrol, and is more economical !
However, the downside of this car is that it costs about $400+ per day, which is one of the more expensive cars in this list, so it may not be suitable for budget conscious couples.
At the time of writing, diesel is about $1.86/litre while 95-octane petrol is $2.25/litre.
Audi A4
This is a very popular self drive car for couples who want to look stylish on their wedding day, without breaking the bank. Our Audi A4 can be rented from just under $200/day at the time of writing, and is extremely good value for money as a wedding car as you are still getting the luxury car feeling and the prestige of the Audi brand, all while being wallet friendly.
Because the demand for this car is so high, we usually recommend customers to book it a few months in advance.
Toyota Alphard/Vellfire
As a wedding car, this may not be the best choice as couples usually go for luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi and Jaguar. Couples who are looking for something more exotic may even go for our Bentleys and Maseratis.
But do not overlook this car just yet - as this car can be perfect for your bridesmaids and groomsmen due to its spacious interior. It can sit 7 or 8 people with ease, depending on the model.
BMW 3 Series 335i
Fast and sexy. That is how we would describe the BMW 335i Cabriolet. And being a cabriolet, you can bring down the top, and zoom along the streets of Singapore in a BMW convertible with the wind in your hair and life partner by your side.
Did we mention that this car comes with 300 horses? Yes, this rocket bunny catapults from 0-100kmh in a mere 5.4 seconds. So be gentle on the pedal ! You do not want to get into trouble with the traffic police, especially not on your wedding day.
At the time of writing, this car comes with a minimum rental period of 2 days.
Audi S5
Just like the BMW 335i above, this Audi S5 is no slouch. With a 3 litre V6 supercharged engine, this car produces about 329 horsepower and launches from 0-100 kmh in about 5.4 seconds as well.
This car is ideal for those who are looking for a more powerful, exotic alternative to the Audi A4. And at about $300 per day, is cheaper compared to the BMW 335i !
BMW 7 Series
If a smooth and comfortable ride is what you’re looking for on your wedding day, then we would definitely recommend the BMW 7 Series. At under $300/day, it is also value for money as it looks super expensive and will definitely wow your wedding guests.
We think the only downside to this car is that it’s pretty long, which means you have to be extra careful when manoeuvring it in small or narrow places. The last thing you want is to damage the car on your wedding day !
